Change of plan administrator for the Glaxo Wellcome Pension Plan and Glaxo Wellcome Contracted-out Money Purchase Scheme (“the Plans”) from 1 June 2018

Aon Hewitt Limited currently carries out the administration for the Plans. Following a change in Aon Hewitt’s business strategy, the administration of the Plans will move to Willis Towers Watson with elect from 1 June 2018.

Willis Towers Watson were selected by GSK as a result of a market tender for the administration services.Willis Towers Watson are an industry-leading provider of pension administration services and their reputation has been built over more than forty years in pensions administration.

There is no need for you to take any action as a result of this change. Please be assured that GSK, Aon Hewitt and Willis Towers Watson are working closely together to ensure a seamless transition.

For members with Defined Contribution Benefits including Additional Voluntary Contributions/Savings (AVC’s) and Shift Contributions – please note a blackout period is in place from 8 May to 31 May.

Investment changes can be made again effective from 1 June 2018 with Willis Towers Watson.
